One of the fastest growing urban center of the Southern United States launched its much-anticipated Bewegen bike share program this week. This innovative new system will deliver a fleet of 330 bicycles to city residents and visitors, featuring 180 of Bewegen’s advanced Pedelec (electric-assist) models. The system operations will be managed by Corps Logistics, a Veteran-Owned Business that works to employ local veterans.
The bike share program is to be made available to residents and visitors with virtual and physical stations located across the City. Key service areas for the system include downtown Raleigh, in southeast Raleigh, along Hillsborough Street, and at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
Multinational software leader Citrix has announced that the company will be the title sponsor of the City of Raleigh’s upcoming bike share system. The company’s involvement in this project demonstrates a strong commitment to encouraging sustainable, clean-energy transportation across the City of Raleigh and greater North Carolina.
Bewegen is proud to be working with the City of Raleigh and local stakeholders to help deliver the future of active transportation. Further information can be found on the Citrix Cycle Website.
